Mullaney Joins VersAccounts

Former Sage Ireland boss Liam Mullaney is to head up the European sales drive of Oregon accounting software company VersAccounts

VersAccounts offers cloud accounting and ERP solutions designed to meet the needs of medium size businesses as well as regional branches of global organisations.

It says its offerings fill the gap between entry-level solutions such as Quickbooks, Sage 50 and Xero  and traditional mid-market products like Microsoft Dynamics and Netsuite that are too complex and expensive.

“I am really excited about helping VersAccounts meet the needs of the small business ERP market that remains poorly served today,” said Liam Mullaney (pictured).

“These are rapidly growing companies that have complex operations. They need a full function ERP but can't afford it. So they make do with accounting software, spreadsheets and manual processes.

“VersAccounts' mission is to change this by disrupting the traditional pricing of ERP systems and making them affordable to these small businesses through the use of cloud and mobile technologies.”

Mullaney added: “We look forward to aggressively serving this market by delivering more customer focused solutions, at lower price points, with higher levels of capability, better service, and more flexibility.

“We can do this because of the modern technologies and product development practices we use in creating our products, and because we are not burdened by the legacy software products that our competitors must deal with.” (August 2014)
