Web Summit Adds Bitcoin To The Roster
Seven new speakers have been added to the lineup for this year's Web Summit, which is taking place in the RDS from November 4 to 6. The additions include Gavin Andresen, Bitcoin's chief scientist, and Des Traynor, co-founder of business messaging app Intercom.
Other inclusions on the web summit's lineup are Alex Klein and Jules Coleman. Klein is CEO of Kano, which produces build-it-yourself computers and is the UK's highest-raising Kickstarter-funded company to date. Coleman is co-founder and COO of Hassle.com, an online marketplace that is disrupting the billion-dollar cleaning services market for the home.

All seven new web summit additions will speak at the Builders Summit, one of four primary summits at the November event (the others are the Enterprise Summit, the IoT Summit and the Digital Marketing summit).
They will join a who's who of digitech principals for the web summit, including Stripe co-founder John Collison, Drew Houston (founder of Dropbox) and John Sculley, Apple's former CEO.
Tickets aren't cheap for the three-day event, currently ranging in price from €1,500 to nearly €10,000 and certain to rise. See here for more details.
