Food & Drink Business Conference In Aviva
The Food & Drink Business Conference is being held at the Aviva Stadium on September 10. The event has been organised to bring together the key stakeholders responsible for delivering the key targets set out in Food Harvest 2020.
The food industry is targeting growth in exports in all of the key sectors including beef, dairy, beverages, ingredients, baby foods and snacks.
The speakers include John Teeling (pictured), who sold his Cooley distillery to Beam; Michael Carey, Bord Bia chairman; John Walshe of Callan Bacon; Caroline Keeling of Keelings; Eugene McEneaney of Celtic Pure, and Vincent Carton, Carton Group.
The event will be chaired by the chief executive of the Irish Exporters Association, Simon McKeever. The speakers will address a range of issues challenging the food industry including upscaling, financing expansion, acquisitions, new product development, sustainability, branding, new technology etc.
