New Ulster Bank App For Startups

Ulster Bank has released some new additions to its supports for new businesses in Ireland, which now include a free app and an online list of local enterprise startup support options.


The bank's free new app is called 'Start-Up Centre' and is available for iPhones and iPads. It provides a one-stop shop of information, insights and guidance for new businesses, covering topics related to money, marketing, management and motivation. The app is available on

That site also features an online navigator of all the local enterprise startup supports across Ireland. It lists sources of information and provides immediate guidance from industry experts, and is available to all Ulster Bank business customers.

The bank is also introducing transaction fee-free banking for the first two years from account opening, as well as access to 'Anytime', a fee-free subscription service that allows customers to manage business and personal accounts together on one platform. A subscription-free 'Business Card' is also available for the first year.

Ian Jordan, head of business direct at Ulster Bank, says that (powered by Ulster Bank) can give customers access to a network of almost 20,000 small business owners. “It also gives our customers useful resources such as a free business planning tool and a discounted web shop,” he adds.
